- Follow Your Favorite Agencies:
- Browse the list of agencies
- “Fan” agencies you’re interested in to receive updates on their volunteer needs.
- Find Volunteer Opportunities:
- Browse available volunteer needs
- Click 'Respond' to sign up as an individual or 'Respond as Team' to volunteer with a group.
- Note: Some organizations may have their own sign-up process. Be sure to follow any special instructions listed in the volunteer need description.
- Log Your Hours
- Track your impact by logging volunteer hours—they’ll be saved to your personal volunteer résumé.
- Important Notes
- Volunteer Fox Cities hosts the platform, but nonprofits are responsible for keeping their agency profiles, volunteer needs, and events up to date.
- Responding to a volunteer need is often just the first step. After you respond, the nonprofit will follow up with next steps.
- If you don’t hear back within 3–5 business days, reach out to the nonprofit directly. Contact information is typically available by clicking on the agency profile.
- Some organizations may have additional requirements, such as:
- Submitting a volunteer application
- Registering through their own system
- Attending an orientation or training session
- Completing a background check
