Who We Are

Good Stewards of the Environment

OCRSW takes a proactive approach to environmental stewardship and implements projects and programs to enhance the quality of life for the region through a cleaner, safer environment. Our vision for the future includes continuing to increase integrated materials management and decreasing waste quantities that require landfilling.

Our proactive approach meets and exceeds the strict environmental protection standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR). These efforts have been recognized with awards from our industry peers.

What We Do

At Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste, we’re proud to be part of the Tri-County Partnership alongside Brown and Winnebago Counties. Together, we operate one of the largest publicly owned single-stream recycling facilities in the U.S., serving nearly 16% of Wisconsin’s population. Our facility processes up to 100,000 tons of recyclable materials each year, creating jobs, conserving resources, and protecting the environment. By making recycling easy and convenient, we help our community "Recycle more...landfill less." Join us in making a difference and helping to build a sustainable future for Northeast Wisconsin!
