Waupaca Community Arts Board

The Waupaca Community Arts Board is a diverse group of passionate volunteers dedicated to incorporating the arts into everyday life of people of all ages and artistic abilities by promoting creativity, artistic expression and community building.

Building Community through the Arts serves as the guide for all of our planning. We ascribe to a philosophy whereby we do what we love. And as our network of informal supporters keeps growing, and this is why we can plan additional events.

In recent years we have expanded the focus of WCAB and have engaged with the vision of community building in the arts, with the awareness of how important the arts are to our local economy and quality of life in Waupaca. When events include community connections, we reach more people with attendance and participation and this helps to break down barriers.  Building Community through the Arts!

As the Waupaca Community Arts Board continues its collaboration, we have joined with, connected with and maintained support from the City of Waupaca, with many retailers, and with various other organizations including the Waupaca School District, the Waupaca Historical Society, Winchester Academy, the Waupaca Area Public Library, as well as other groups and individuals.  These groups meet regularly as a network to collaborate, calling themselves the Waupaca Area Arts and Culture Network, a group that came out of one of the many Arts Summits that WCAB sponsored over the years. There is an ongoing attempt to grow and to connect with the emphasis on celebration and participation.
