Who We Are

Samaritan’s mission is to connect mind, body, and spirit so individuals, families, organizations, and communities thrive. We specialize in spiritually integrated care, an evidence-based healing technique that identifies and connects with a person's sacred core and is proven to be one of the most effective paths to wholeness and peace. Spiritually integrated care is based on the client’s spiritual background, experience, and desire to include it in their care.

We provide a continuum of mental health care that includes mental health screening for school age children and early identification of concerns that may lead to significant and potentially life-threatening mental health diagnoses. We are committed to supporting community members who seek treatment through Samaritan’s counseling offerings or elsewhere. We serve children, youth, adults, families, schools, and faith communities. We take pride in our willingness to meet community members in need where they are, whether in-person or via telehealth, in the community (at satellite offices), or in their schools.

Our primary exempt purpose is to provide mental health services for uninsured and underinsured individuals. We accept most insurance plans and are committed to serving low-income children and adults, including the Latino population.

Strategically, our vision is to have outstanding mental wellness for all in our community and beyond by providing compassionate and transformative services that promote belonging and enduring hope. We serve the entire Fox Valley and beyond. Our headquarters is in Menasha, and we have three outreach offices in churches in Kaukauna, Oshkosh and New London. Our telehealth services have enabled us to expand our footprint.

As a nonprofit organization, we value serving clients in our counseling clinic regardless of their ability to pay. About 45% of our patients qualify as low-income, are uninsured or underinsured, and may pay for services according to a sliding fee scale. Those who seek treatment at Samaritan can expect professional, expert counseling that is cost-effective. We are fully licensed with Wisconsin as an outpatient mental health and AODA clinic.
