Our Board and committee options do have a time commitment and requires screening and an interview. These tasks may include, but are not limited to fundraising, engagement & recruitment, and marketing.

Behind the scenes support is generally done as a solo projected under the direction of a staff member. These projects could be anything from, communications / social media support and administrative work or organizational - like literally helping to keep the storage and inventory in check.

Our current committees at our organization include Finance, Ministry, Property and Marketing & Development. We are seeking community members to serve in our organization's board of directors, sharing their talents, leadership skills, time and treasure to promote the mental wellness of our communities. We seek individuals with a variety of skills and experiences, and from diverse cultural backgrounds to best represent the population we serve. The board meets monthly for 90 mins, and there are opportunities for committee services . Time commitment in committee service and other projects vary.

All volunteer work currently can be done remotely. If in person meetings are necessary we follow CDC guidelines.

Previous board experience is a plus for candidates to board service; medical background (physicians, physician assistants, nurses, etc); lived experience with mental health conditions is desired.

CASA of the Fox Cities seeks interested members for its Board of Directors. Although previous Board membership experience is not required, we do prefer someone who has had some volunteer involvement with a nonprofit agency (committee work, for example).

Our current board member needs are for an individual who has previous experience in marketing/public relations/advertising, as well as an individual with a background in fundraising or sales.

We also encourage the involvement of men and all individuals from diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds to assist us.

A passion for CASA's mission of assisting abused/neglected children within local courts is essential.

Board meetings are held at the CASA office from 5 to 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month, except for November and December, when it it held on the third Tuesday to avoid holidays. Board members are also required to serve on one of several committees, which carry out the work of the agency. Each committee is chaired by a Board member and we are in specific need of someone to chair our Marketing/PR Committee, as well as a chair for our Fundraising Committee. Total average time investment per month would be 5 to 10, depending on time of year/projects.

Board member terms are 3 years, with the opportunity to recommit to a second term upon completion of the first 3-year term.
