Facilitate singing, playing musical instruments, picnics or luncheons, leading an art or craft project, etc. These can be done with a group you belong to, or entertain our tenants one-on-one.

Spend some time with tenants who would like company. Tenants may need support with shopping, rides, using technology, planning and/or leading a game in the afternoon or at night, or getting to a social event.

Share your passions and talents with our community. It can be daily, weekly or just monthly. Have an idea for something we didn't mention? Please call us to discuss it at 920-734-7225. 

You can help where needed at Fox Valley Lutheran Homes by supporting our fundraising events as a volunteer; serve refreshments or greet people. Some other ideas include art or craft days, cleaning days, music is appreciated or game times. If you have any other creative idea, please call us! Love yard work? We have that too! 

Do you have a special skill, experience or a talent that will contribute to one of our existing committees? Our current committees at our organization include Finance, Ministry, Property and Marketing & Development. Bring your smile and giving heart this season. You can do this by coordinating a holiday decoration-making project, card-making, or create fun by having a craft party for the tenants at Linwood Community. Spend time socializing while presenting some holiday entertainment!

Help with our seasonal lawn mowing. Help as much or as little to fit your schedule.

Ways to contribute include seasonal projects such as spring and fall cleanup, general grounds/building management (mowing weeding, raking, painting, window washing, just to name a few). Or help prepare garden spaces for tenants to grow vegetables and flowers in the spring. Some of our jobs or projects are available on a continuing basis and some are indoors, while others are outdoors. Help as much or as little as your schedule allows.
