Volunteer: Help Us Go the Extra Mile—Join Our ReStore Driving Team!Donation Drivers and Assistants: Operate the ReStore box truck to collect donated items from residences or businesses, carefully load the items into the truck, and transport them to the ReStore. Assess the quality of donated items for acceptance based on ReStore guidelines. Provide excellent customer service during donation pick-ups, representing the ReStore's values. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds. Perform regular safety checks and basic maintenance on the truck (e.g., checking fluid levels). Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.You must be 18 years old. Must be specially trained. Reasonable accommodations will be provided. Whether you’re a great cook, love catering from local favorites, or just want to make someone’s day, your meal makes a huge difference. Sign up for a date that works for you, and help fuel the hands that build our community! Lunch should be delivered to the site around 11:45am. This group goes into homes or businesses that will be remodeled or torn down and salvages items that can be sold at Habitat ReStore or recycled. For example, one of our most common decon projects is to take out a kitchen from a home that will be getting a new kitchen. We then sell that old kitchen set at ReStore.
