Hope Clinic has a continuous need for RN volunteers. The ideal candidate would be available a minimum of one day per week (Monday-Thursday) with additional options available for volunteering as little as one day per month.
RN volunteers perform similar duties to RN staff taking into consideration individual comfort levels and experience. Tasks may include assisting providers in assessing patients, phlebotomy services, basic procedures (e.g. Pap, ear flushing, excisions), filling prescriptions and meeting a variety of patient needs. Nursing staff works closely with ancillary departments to ensure our patients are cared for holistically. This volunteer position requires an active RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
Training with the Clinic Manger and other RN staff is provided.
