Hope Clinic has a continuous need for LPN volunteers. The ideal candidate would be available a minimum of one day per week (Monday-Thursday) for 4-8 hours per day with options available for volunteering as little as one day per month.
LPN volunteers perform similar duties to LPN staff taking into consideration individual comfort levels and experience. Tasks may include rooming patients, assisting with provider assessment, phlebotomy services, basic procedures (e.g. Pap, ear flushing, excisions), filling prescriptions and meeting a variety of patient needs. Nursing staff works closely with ancillary departments to ensure our patients are cared for holistically. This volunteer position requires an active LPN license in the state of Wisconsin.
Training with the Clinic Manger and other nursing staff is provided.
