Talent Takeover is Remarkable's yearly talent show fundraiser. Our participants work for months on preparing their acts, which include joke telling, musical numbers, dances, and more. Volunteers assist with event set-up, selling raffles, raffle stations, running silent auction and raffle baskets to their winners, and event clean up. Talent Takeover is a blast to be a part of and helps Remarkable to further its mission to elevate the lives of people with diverse abilities by Caring deeply, Creating opportunities, Connecting communities and Celebrating success.
There are a number of volunteer roles that vary in their tasks and time commitment. The event itself runs from 5pm-9:30pm, and volunteer roles have time commitments of between 3 hours and the whole event.
