Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin matches an adult volunteer mentor with a young person who WANTS a mentor in their life. Matches are made based on compatibility and interests. You will enjoy friendship and fun with your Little!
The kids are between the ages of 6-18 years old. Matches meet 2 times per month up to 4 times per month.
In the community-based program, matches enjoy get togethers that do not require spending a lot of money. Matches do things like get outdoors, play some sports, take bike rides and walks, head to the nature center, play board games and cards, cook and bake together, build things, go to community activities around town, attend free library programs, come to our BBBS events, and just talk and laugh.
The site-based program happens on a weekly basis at the Little's school during their lunch break. Matches eat together, play games, work on puzzles or art projects, talk and share photos, and enjoy the time together becoming friends. Matches only meet when school is in session.
Mentors must be 18 years old and plan to be matched at least one year.
