We need your help to drive a newly arrived refugee family living in Neenah to English class in downtown Appleton!
Imagine needing to build a new life in a new country. There is no bus system that serves your city, and you don't know the language. To get a driver's license, you must take a written test and then an oral behind-the wheel test in the new language - and have access to funds to buy a car. The only language classes are too far away to walk, and you don't know enough people to get a ride from a friend or family member.
That's a lot to overcome! Luckily, you can help a family during this difficult transition time!
The family is 2 adult women and two kids (4 year-old and 6 year-old).
Class is Wednesday mornings.
Pick up at their home in Neenah at 8:30 AM to drop off in downtown Appleton at 9:00 AM
And/or
Pick up in downtown Appleton at 11:00 AM to drop off at their home in Neenah
