General Qualifications:
- A commitment to support the mission of the Appleton International Airport volunteer program and the Airport
- Provide transportation between parking lot and terminal
- The ability to sit and stand for part or all of a shift; may be required to do some walking and pushing of wheel chairs. Those with physical restrictions will be accommodated as much as possible
- Commit to volunteer for a minimum of one 3 (three) hour shift per week
- Be able to lift luggage up to 50 lbs
- Be reliable, efficient, and committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Be able to work cooperatively and courteously with diverse groups of people
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Attend training sessions, a 1-hour orientation, plus monthly follow-training
- Current Airport employees may volunteer, however, the performance of regular job duties during volunteer hours are prohibited
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Welcome visitors
- Shuttle customers in golf cart from parking lot to/from terminal
- Work in assigned areas including but not limited to: parking lot area and ticketing lobby
- Keep current on airport information and changes
- Understand parking lot number system to find customer cars quickly
- Participate in orientation and training programs
- Wear the required uniform and project a positive and professional image
