Purpose: Clients in the Adult & Family Shelter are expected to supervise their children while in shelter. Volunteers that host an activity night are providing families and other clients with an opportunity to do something fun and relaxing together!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan a family-friendly activity
- Provide supplies for planned activity
- Host activity in-shelter
- Clean-up as needed
- Notify Volunteer Manager of planned activity 1 – 2 weeks in advance (to allow for advertising)
All new Pillars volunteers must attend an orientation session before volunteering.
