Supplies that Celebrate lives!  We could use your help to assist us with items needed for us to help those planning a Celebration of Support fundraising party for an individual and their family going through a medical crisis.

We could use the following:

Volunteering is better with friends, family, and co-workers. Invite yours to volunteer and we will give you a $20 gift card to local businesses and your referral will get a $20 Life's Celebration Center Thrift store gift card. Proceeds from our thrift store (everything is donated) go into a fund that helps to support our families.

It takes a community to come together in supporting a family through their medical crisis and 'that's you!"

Design/support our social media platforms, along with the opportunity
to do other awareness opportunities for CBT such as dropping off flyer's and/or
posters at area businesses, expo’s, etc...

QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with all social media outlets desired.
Some travel required.

TIME COMMITMENT: Depending on your availability you can do this from
home or travel to awareness opportunities. Days and Times would
depend on opportunities.
AGE: 18 and up

We need research done to find local and national resources for our families.  Topics include transportation, basic needs. holistic assistance, medical condition specific, to help to name a few.  

Light clerical work, computer-related projects, assists in preparing
for events and mailings.  Occasional cleaning.

QUALIFICATIONS: Willingness to travel to office in Kaukauna.
Knowledge of computers helpful. Good Communication Skills.

TIME COMMITMENT: Monday-Friday shifts 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 - 4 p.m.
AGES: 16 and up

Hope Care Package Drive

Community Benefit Tree (CBT) needs your support to host a care package drive and help families going through a medical crisis by providing some joy, hope and comfort.  When families have a sick loved one, they often are drained emotionally and financially.  We would like to send them care packages to assist them with this difficult time.  

Looking for companies, schools, churches, families and organizations to host a "Hope Care Package Drive". The collection box will display a list of needs to assemble the care packages to give to families in the community struggling with a medical crisis.  These items will be packaged and given to families who need immediate assistance.

Items needed:  Gas cards, Restaurant cards, Coffee Places gift cards, Grocery Store gift cards, board games, socks, blankets, lip balm, crossword puzzles, kid's toys, coloring books, crayons, pencils, and totes to put the items in.

Give Gift Cards

Giving some immediate relief  to local families that are in a medical crisis and giving them some peace of mind! You can drop off gift cards at Community Benefit Tree at 1734 Ken Dale Drive, Kaukauna. Office hours are M, T, W, and F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Th 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Gift cards that are LIFE SAVING: Grocery stores, gas cards, restaurant cards, hotel cards, and airline cards.

Family Coordinators play a key role in providing assistance to our families.
They would advise in the family’s financial sustainability plan, give
resources, and emotional support to our families.

QUALIFICATIONS: Training is required. Need to have time committed
in supporting a family through their medical crisis. Some financial
understanding is desirable, an ear to listen and a heart for compassion.

TIME COMMITMENT: 4 to 6 hours a month, subject to change depending on number of families in need

AGE: 25 and up 

Do you like to plan events, solicit for donations and oversee
volunteers. To serve on one or all of the following fundraising planning
committees:

To assist with the Rental and Online Resale/Re-purpose Store of E-commerce
or rental items. Includes taking pictures, pricing, and
positioning of items along with downloading them onto the e-commerce
apps.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of computer, social media platforms and can learn quickly.
TIME COMMITMENT: Some duties can be done at home and some
need to be done at the Celebration Center.
AGE: 18 and up

Volunteers help process items that are donated to our thrift store. Tasks include cleaning each item, checking to see if the item is in good condition and working properly, and labeling with the proper store code. This is a good opportunity for families, individuals or groups of all ages to work together. Very relaxed atmosphere.

We have equipment that we use at each of our family’s fundraisers or
rental items that at times need to be repaired, painted, or created. Along with
re-purposing of items to sell in our Online store. We need individuals
who are good with either fixing things and/or good with building/
working with wood, crafty, like to paint, etc…

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of painting, mechanical, crafty, creative
and good with wood would be helpful but required.

TIME COMMITMENT: Assist as needed basis for specific projects/
repairs.
AGE: 16 and up

Coaches play a key role in instructing the Celebration of Support(families benefit) team on the programs and tools Community Benefit Tree has to assist in having a successful event.  Lead the family/friends (Celebration team) of the recipient in the right planning direction.

Qualifications: Love planning events. Like to teach others. Willingness to travel some distance. Time to help others.   Training is required.

Time commitment: 10 to 15 hours per month.

Age: 25 and older

Volunteer at Celebration of Support events assisting with raffles, silent auctions, kids games, bake sale, serving food, grilling, etc. Volunteer opportunities would depend on the day and type of the event.

Volunteer by yourself, as a family, as a group from church, school, civic club or through work.

Qualifications: Love to help others and work with others to support someone in need!

Time Commitment: You choose event and what area and time you would like to help.

Age: 12 and up (age 12 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult)

include: Assist in cleaning, organizing, and keeping inventory of items.
Putting together rental orders for pick up as well as packaging of
Online resale store items.  Checking customers out.
QUALIFICATIONS: Like or Love to clean and organize. Work in a
group or as an individual.
TIME COMMITMENT: There are shift/day opportunities or we can customize
to your availability.
Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. shifts
AGE: 13 and up (with parent)

The Advisory Council serves as a critical community champion of the Community Benefit Tree. Members of the Advisory Council share their gifts in service to our mission by providing our organization with their professional expertise; their diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives; their connections, resources, colleagues or peers; their philanthropic support or other forms of needed assistance. The Advisory Council has no governing function within the organization.
