Volunteer: Saving Paws - Cat CareEnjoy taking care of animals and looking for a flexible schedule? Sign up to be a cat care volunteer at Saving Paws, a volunteer-run, no-kill animal rescue in Appleton. As a cat care volunteer, you provide care to the kittens and cats temporarily calling Saving Paws home. Duties include socializing the cats, feeding, watering and cleaning the rooms where the cats live. No previous experience is needed – we provide the training. We have morning, afternoon and evening time slots for our volunteers. Each cat care shift is about two hours. Once you complete general orientation, we will partner you with a trained volunteer who will show you what to do. You will shadow that person for several shifts until you are comfortable to be on your own. We use an on-line scheduling tool called Volunteer Matters for sign ups. The best part is you choose a time that works for you – we do not have regular open hours. Children over the age of 11 can volunteer with their parents or another adult at Saving Paws. Sign up to be a cat care volunteer at Saving Paws, a volunteer-run, no-kill animal rescue in Appleton. As a cat care volunteer, you provide care to the kittens and cats temporarily calling Saving Paws home. Duties include socializing the cats, feeding, watering and cleaning the rooms where the cats live. No previous experience is needed – we provide the training. We have morning, afternoon and evening time slots for our volunteers. Each cat care shift is about two hours. Once you complete general orientation, we will partner you with a trained volunteer who will show you what to do. You will shadow that person for several shifts until you are comfortable to be on your own. We use an on-line scheduling tool called Volunteer Matters for sign ups. The best part is you choose a time that works for you – we do not have regular open hours. Children over the age of 11 can volunteer with their parents or another adult at Saving Paws.
