Who We Are
Mission: Saving Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no kill rescue and volunteer run organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned and special needs animals and finding new adoptive homes. We also seek to educate the public regarding animal responsibilities.
Founded by two passionate animal advocates, Michelle and Betsy, we have been rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for homeless, abandoned, sick, and special needs pets since 2006.
We believe every animal deserves love, care, and a forever home. While dogs are hosted in a network of foster homes, cats are cared for in our rescue’s main building or foster homes based on their needs. With the support of a dedicated team of volunteers, we work tirelessly to provide a safe haven for these animals until they meet their new families.
What We Do
- Rescue and Rehome: Save homeless, abandoned, and special needs cats and dogs, providing care and finding adoptive homes.
- Sanctuary Care: Offer lifelong sanctuary for animals unable to be adopted due to health or special needs.
- Service Dog Training: Train and provide service dogs for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities, fostering independence.
- Education: Educate the public on responsible pet ownership and the use of service dogs in public spaces.
- Volunteer-Powered Care: Rely entirely on volunteers to support animal care, foster homes, transportation, and donation pickups.
Together, we strive to ensure every animal gets the love and care they deserve while fostering a compassionate and informed community.
