Who We Are
MacDowell’s diverse membership spans a broad range of musical abilities. We reside in the Fox Cities of Wisconsin; from Green Bay to Waupaca to Oshkosh, and some communities farther away. Although we hail from all walks of life, our common interests of camaraderie and community, and our love of singing have made us a harmonized group for 91 years.
In 2025 the chorus is celebrating 91 years as part of the Fox Cities Music / Arts scene!

What We Do
The MacDowell Male Chorus performs full-length Concerts and participates in cooperative ventures, such as the Associated Male Choruses of America (AMCA) Big Sing Events – most recently held in North Dakota, and planned for Appleton in 2026. The chorus donates music talent during local Church Services, performs patriotic pieces for the Honor Flights and Memorial Day celebrations, and sings the National Anthem for sporting events. We also perform annually at the Symphony Under the Stars event at Fox Cities Stadium to celebrate the 4th of July.
