Older adults living in nursing homes or assisted living communities would love to visit with YOU!! We are looking for volunteer advocates to brighten the lives of older adults living in long term care communities all over NE WI - specifically in the Fox Cities, Green Bay, Manitowoc, and the surrounding communities! These advocates make weekly visits to a designated nursing home or assisted living facility, where they have conversations with residents and empower them to resolve concerns or issues they may be experiencing. Our volunteers are friendly visitors who offer encouragement, empowerment, and advocacy. Training is provided, and ongoing support is always available. This opportunity is flexible - visits are 1-3 hours in duration, and can be made any day of the week between 8am-8pm. A background check is required.
