Mission: To provide a Faith-based, Inclusive, and Safe Independent Living Experience for Moderate Income Adults (ages 62+).
Linwood Community is a ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes. We provide a ministry of hope and help, aiming to end the isolation and invisibility that prevents moderate income elderly in the Fox Cities from accessing the support they need to live with independent dignity in the community. The goal of our staff is to carry out our mission statement of providing a ministry of dignity, respect, compassion, and love to older persons.
FVLH owns and manages a 42-unit apartment building for older adults (62+) to live safely and independently in a faith-based community. We also have activities available in our Commons area for our tenants. Scheduled activities include church services, Bible studies, education programs, exercise classes, card games, bingo, flu shot clinics, family gatherings, and other parties!
