Volunteer Fox Cities

Our Story: Volunteer Fox Cities, formerly known as the Volunteer Center of East Central Wisconsin, was founded in 1993 by the Volunteer Action Council (VAC) Fox Cities with the support of the Aid Association for Lutherans, now known as Thrivent. The organization began in a one-room office located at the Thompson Community Center.

Since then, Volunteer Fox Cities has grown into a trusted community resource, serving as a conduit between nonprofits, volunteers, and businesses. Today, we support hundreds of nonprofit organizations, thousands of community volunteers, and many corporations and business partners across Outagamie, Winnebago, Waupaca, and Calumet counties. Our work continues to strengthen communities by connecting people with meaningful opportunities to give their time and talent.

At Volunteer Fox Cities, we develop, coordinate, and promote volunteerism to meet community needs throughout the Fox Cities and beyond. Our work includes:

- Connecting individuals and groups with volunteer opportunities that match their skills, interests, and availability - Partnering with local nonprofits through our Nonprofit Network to support volunteer recruitment and strengthen their missions.
