Community Clothes Closet

Community Clothes Closet has been serving disadvantaged families since 1980. Since that beginning, Community Clothes Closet, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been collecting and distributing clothing, blankets, towels and household items to people in need, who are referred by other social service agencies such as the St. Joseph’s Food Program, Leaven, and over 60 other human service agencies. Our clients are able to meet their clothing needs while using their limited income to meet other primary necessities such as food and shelter.

Community Clothes Closet seeks to fulfill its mission of providing FREE clothing to people in need, while maintaining their dignity and offering opportunities to improve their lives.  

We do not receive funding from the government, fixed income sources or charge our clients for any of our services. We employ a small staff and rely on our 150+ volunteers to serve those in need.
