We currently have a 16-year-old girl from Appleton on our waiting list. This artsy teen enjoys drawing, sculpting and graphic design. Her parents are currently separating, and she could use someone to talk to outside of her home. She would love to visit local nature centers, roller rinks and the cat cafe with a mentor.
The child described above is 1 of nearly 30 kids currently waiting to be matched with a mentor.
The Outagamie County Mentoring Program is looking for volunteer mentors who are willing to engage in positive activities with a child in the local community. Mentors are asked to spend 4 hours each month with the child they are matched with, meeting at least twice per month.
For information on how to become a mentor with
the Outagamie County Mentoring Program, email us at hhsmentors@outagamie.org
or call (920) 832-5961. We’d love to answer any questions you may
have about our program.
