We currently have a 14-year-old girl from Appleton waiting to be matched with a mentor. This teen girl enjoys baking, sewing and designing clothes. She also likes playing sports including volleyball, basketball, air hockey and football. Her homelife is a bit chaotic, and she is looking forward to spending time out of the house with a mentor.
The child described above is 1 of nearly 30 kids currently waiting to be matched with a mentor.
The
Outagamie County Mentoring Program is looking for volunteer mentors who are
willing to engage in positive activities with a child in the local
community. Mentors are asked to spend 4 hours each month with the child
they are matched with, meeting at least twice per month.
For information on how to become a mentor with the Outagamie County Mentoring Program, email us at hhsmentors@outagamie.org or call (920) 832-5961. We’d love to answer any questions you may have about our program.
