Bike to the Beat is a family-friendly bike ride for riders of all ages and skill levels. It’s a day filled with fun, camaraderie, live music, and a wide variety of free food, beer, and other beverages. It’s an event for all ages and skill levels, with multiple routes to choose from ranging from 7 miles all the way up to 53 miles. And with multiple stops along the way – each filled with all that fun we told you about – you can go at your own pace and enjoy the day however you’d like.
We’ve got so many ways to lend a hand and make Fox Communities Credit Union’s Bike to the Beat event a great success. From small preparation tasks to heavy lifting to many available positions the day of the ride – the success of this event widely depends on our volunteers.
Volunteers will receive a special volunteer t-shirt and gratitude of thanks from Fox Communities Credit Union! Volunteers will also have the opportunity to attend a thank you event, a few weeks after Bike to the Beat. All volunteers are required to SMILE and have fun!
Who can volunteer?
Families, corporate groups, and individuals are encouraged and welcome to volunteer before, during, and after Bike to the Beat. Some volunteer positions may require driving or heavy lifting.
What kinds of opportunities are there?
We’ve got everything from setup to take down and a lot of opportunities on ride day, too! Examples include goody bag stuffing, setting up signage along the course, serving food/drink, cheering on participants, course safety roles, intersection monitors, registration, clean up, etc.
