The City of Waupaca is seeking volunteers to assist with planting pine seedlings. Volunteers will help “step in” the seedlings by walking around each planted tree to straighten it and firm the soil around the base to ensure proper placement.
This project will take place on April 27 and April 28, from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to join for the full day if possible; however, assistance for any portion of the day is greatly appreciated.
Please note: Youth volunteers are welcome but must be accompanied by an individual who is 18 years of age or older.
