Stay active while you make patients feel comfortable and welcome! Assist patients and visitors to the correct areas of the hospital and/or clinic. Create a positive experience from the moment a guest enters the building.
Some duties include:
- Provide a friendly & welcoming environment for patients, staff & visitors
- Assist in keeping the entrance orderly and clean
- Conduct patient and room and physician look-ups
- Provide way-finding; escort patients and visitors in a safe, prompt and efficient manner
- Transport patients and visitors by wheelchair to and from various areas on campus
- Keep an adequate supply of wheelchairs at the Main Entrance - sanitize wheelchairs after each use
- Support registration staff
- Run errands as needed, including delivering specimens to the Lab
- Answer phone and respond to inquiries
