This committee develops and delivers educational programs to build public understanding and appreciation of local history and ensures high-quality tours of the Morgan House.
Tasks: ● Plan and implement educational programs: lectures, workshops, book clubs, community tours, etc. ● Maintain and update the Morgan House tour manual; train and support volunteer docents to lead tours. ● Seek grant funding or other resources to support educational initiatives. ● Partner with other committees (e.g., Collections, Outreach) to integrate history education into WCHS’s efforts. Hours: Education Committee Meeting - First Monday of each Month - 6:30 - 7:30 PM (can be virtual or in person at the Morgan House - 234 Church Street, Oshkosh) Give tours on the First Friday of each month from 6-8 PM all year long. (at the Morgan House) Give tours on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 9-Noon only in June, July and August (at the Morgan House)
