SCORE provides mentoring to small businesses and startups through a network of trained volunteers. Training is provided through staff-supported onboarding, online training modules and local co-mentoring sessions with experienced chapter mentors. The Fox Cities SCORE chapter covers 8 counties, with an office location in Appleton.
This opportunity requires 10 years of restaurant business experience. SCORE mentor opportunities provide flexibility, as you schedule your meetings with assigned clients at mutually agreeable times.
Volunteers spend approximately 10-15 hrs per month meeting with clients face to face, by phone or via our online mentoring system on Zoom and participating in associated chapter meetings and mentoring prep work. Hours are flexible. Basic computer skills are required.
