As a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Money Matters curriculum, Reality Store is an event that our Club organizes for its Teen members in order to learn about financial responsibility! During this fun and educational event teens will:
- learn to manage a checking account
- create a budget
- save and invest their earnings
- start a small business
- pay for college
- experience life's "unexpected" happenings
We are seeking help with running each table/station at our event, which is set up like a giant game of LIFE. Volunteers at each table will help teens to weigh options of making certain financial decisions and help them balance their checking accounts.
Date: October 17th, 2019
Time: 3pm for set up, 4pm for event
Location: Appleton Boys & Girls Club at 160 S. Badger Ave
