Are you an experienced banking professional who would like to help small business owners and entrepreneurs?
Then consider volunteering with SCORE Fox Cities as a Mentor. We provide online training and supported mentoring with veteran mentors until you are comfortable working with clients.
SCORE needs experts like you to coach our small business clients on matters concerning business financing, like how to qualify for and secure business loans. If you can help them work effectively with their bank or credit union, you are just the person we are looking for.
This opportunity provides flexibility as you schedule your meetings with the client at a mutually agreeable time. Our mentors have 10+ years of business experience as business professionals, business owners or business educators. Volunteers spend approximately 10-15 hrs per month meeting with clients face to face, by phone or via our online mentoring system on Zoom and associated chapter meetings and mentoring prep work. The Fox Cities SCORE chapter covers 8 counties across the region, with an office location in Appleton.
