The Endoscopy Volunteer assists the in the care of their patients and guests at the Encircle Health Endoscopy Department.
We currently have openings on Fridays from 7:30am - 11am!
Some duties include:
- Provide a comfortable atmosphere for guests of patients who are having endoscopy procedures.
- Maintain coffee service and offer refreshments to those in waiting area.
- Maintain a neat and orderly appearance to the Volunteer Desk and waiting room.
- Escort or direct guests to the consultation rooms or recovery area.
- Assist staff in locating guests in the waiting room.
- Provide directions and general information regarding the Endoscopy Center.
- Provide wheelchair transport for patients at time of discharge. NOTE: A volunteer may only guide, but cannot lift a patient in or out of a wheelchair.
