Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity is building a list of skilled tradespeople willing to donate emergency repair services to families impacted by the July 27 tornado. This is an ongoing, on-call need, not a scheduled shift, for work outside the scope of our general cleanup crews, such as:
Roof tarping
Electrical repairs
Plumbing
Tree removal near structures
Other licensed/skilled trade work.
How it works:
1. Sign up by clicking "RESPOND" and then add your trade/skill in the "Additional Volunteer Information/Response Notes section"
2. When a family has a need matching your skill, Kayla
Karoses, Habitat's Event and Operations Coordinator, will call the family
and share your contact information with them.
3. The family will contact you directly to coordinate the
work. All services are donated directly to the family, Habitat is simply the
connection point and is not involved in scheduling, supervising, or paying for
the work performed.
Because this is emergent, response times will vary based on
need in the area.
